Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics

The department is spread out on 9000 square feet area on the second floor of Darshan Dental Collage. We have a separate post graduate clinic & an undergraduate clinic. There are separate cubical sections for the postgraduates to carry out the clinical work on the patients and to give them a feel of clinical experience.

1. Dental implant kit for anchorage
2. Digital SLR camera with macrolense for intraoral as well as facial photography.
3. Use of colour coded background
4. Two computers with scanner & printer
5. Do-IT Software for digital cephalometry
6. Department is equipped with an LCD & OHP projector for post graduate seminar.
7. A high speed broadband connection
8. Lab equipments like sand blaster , plaster dispenser
9. New orthodontic text books are added to library
The department had hosted a state level orthognathic workshop in which 2 patients wanting surgical correction of their facial as well as dental features were operated.
